Ramie Khalil is a Financial Advisor and Licensed Life Insurance Agent. He is the Co-author of Retired & Free: the Unconventional Path to Financial Certainty and Fulfillment, as well the Chief Investment Officer for Fortress Financial Group LLC. Ramie migrated to the United states at the age of 5 with his family from Sierra Leone, West Africa. Growing up with a passion and focus on finance and investing Ramie entered the financial services industry where he focused on helping families and business owners learn how to protect and grow their wealth through sound risk management and income planning. Today, Ramie actively works with hundreds of clients, helping implement wealth management strategies. “I believe that ignorance is not bliss when it comes to your money and family’s financial future. Having the benefit of growing up in a family from another country, I understand why financial education is key to building permanent and lasting wealth. David Swan

Tina Ziegler’s journey into the world of life insurance began with a deeply personal and transformative experience. A happily married mother of five boys, Tina’s life was centered around family and caregiving long before she entered the insurance industry. Before becoming a mom in 1998, Tina was a registered nurse—a career that nurtured her compassionate heart and her unwavering commitment to helping others. For 18 years, she devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mom, providing her family with a loving foundation.

But in 2015, Tina’s world was turned upside down when her husband Jeff was diagnosed with cancer. During this challenging time, Tina realized how ill-prepared they were for the financial strain of a major health crisis. A native of Northern California, Daryl began his career in financial services in 2000 with a Fortune 100 company in Sacramento, Calif. Swiftly becoming a top producer, he was promoted and in due course held responsibilities for recruiting, developing, and leading 150-plus agents/financial advisors with more than $1 billion in assets under care. Pursuing autonomy and ready to put his vision and insights into action, he formed his own firm, first as a hybrid and then as an RIA. It was at this time that Daryl began his partnership with Sowell Management.

After a robust eight-year relationship, Daryl accepted an invitation in 2020 to join the Sowell Management team. As chief operating officer, his role as an integrator is taking the company to the next peak of growth. Daryl is central to the growth planning that remains focused on new horizons for advisors, varying the offerings, and integrated technologies. Daryl’s love of people shines through and carries into his work as a servant leader. He is particularly passionate about financial advisors and the vital mission they execute daily. Abby Sowell

Abby, a native of North Little Rock, Ark, joined Sowell Management in 2018. In her role as transitions coordinator, Abby works closely with advisors to transition them onto the Sowell Management platform. She also supports her own subset of advisors in her role within the Advisor Support team.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, she has a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a concentration in advertising and public relations. As a member of the university’s Tri Delta Sorority, Abby was an active fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. 

Abby enjoys attending her alma mater’s Razorback sporting events, spending time with friends and reading. She also admits to being a fan of reality television shows. She has a rescue dog named Irwin.
